Kyoto ˗ˏˋ Yanagidani Kannon Yōkōji Temple ˎˊ˗ A temple known as a place of prayer for healing eye diseases, it has been worshipped by people suffering from eye ailments. During the rainy season, approximately 5,000 hydrangea plants bloom beautifully. As the birthplace of "flower water basins," you can enjoy adorable flower arrangements in water basins here. There is also an umbrella sky display ☂️. Additionally, you can find flower water basins featuring the Expo mascot "Myakumyaku." Hydrangea Week runs until Monday, June 30. ✼••┈┈┈┈••✼••┈┈┈┈••✼ This time, I took a taxi from Hankyu "Nagaoka Tenjin Station." The one-way fare was ¥2,000. Please note that there are no large lockers at Hankyu "Nagaoka Tenjin Station." JR might have some, though. Luckily, when I was in trouble, the tea house Tamaya in front of the temple kindly offered to store my luggage for ¥500 🥺. ✼••┈┈┈┈••✼••┈┈┈┈••✼ For modern people who tend to overuse their eyes, this Kannon is truly a blessing 👁️🗨️.
