Holland Slope and Higashiyamate Western-style Residential Area

It is Holland Slope, a popular tourist spot in Nagasaki where old Western-style buildings line up, once a foreign settlement. It seems that the place where foreigners lived was named Holland due to the influence of the image of Dutch people = foreigners in Japan at that time. Climbing the slope full of exotic atmosphere, there is the Higashiyamate Western-style residential area where multiple Western-style buildings are preserved. You can enter several Western-style buildings here and on Holland Slope, and you can see the interior decorations from that time. There were also places with cafes attached.
