Piparchi Kitchen is a restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail. It has a stylish exterior and interior, and its small, cozy box-like appearance makes it a hidden gem, but it is highly rated and popular. Set meals are available for around 1,000 yen at lunchtime and dinner, so it's perfectly fine to come just for a meal. They also use locally grown vegetables and Okinawan ingredients, so you can enjoy delicious food that is healthy for your body. On this day, I had a set meal of sauteed fish from the prefecture🐟 The sauce was made with taro (tanmu) sprinkled with pepper (Yaeyama island pepper), which is also used in the restaurant's name, and the taste slowly seeped into my body😊 The four side dishes were also delicious, boiled wheel-shaped gluten, mozuku seaweed with spicy miso, spicy bitter melon chilled tofu with island tofu, warm vegetables and pickles, every ingredient was lively! After the meal, I also had today's cheesecake (purple yam)🧀 The cake was heavy but not too heavy, and the purple yam was well-balanced and moderately assertive🤗 Tasting Okinawa in a relaxing space.
