There is a shuttle bus from Sapporo Station to Furano Station. You can take the Lavender Field Train (limited schedules, so pay attention to the timetable). If you can't return directly to Furano Station, you can go to Kamifurano and take a train back to Sapporo (transfer depending on the situation). Furano in early July is very hot. Make sure to apply sunscreen thoroughly, and bring a sun-protective umbrella. Solo travelers should definitely bring a selfie stick.
