The materials used to create modern wax figures are made of "fiberglass", which is durable, delicate, and beautiful, resembling real people, and provides a softer feeling than wax. Examples of wax figures to visit include the Thai Play Set, Phra Aphai Mani Set, and King Rama V and the Abolition of Slavery Set. Currently, the Thai Wax Museum displays a total of 125 figures, and more are being created.
