Siam Football Museum

#VisitMuseum The Siam Football Association Museum is one of the most interesting museums. This museum was established by the Football History Association of Thailand to honor King Rama VI, who supported and promoted Thai football. Looking back to November 20, 1914, King Rama VI had the idea to establish the "Football Association for Siam" to be a team representing the country in competitions with foreign countries. The first match recorded in the history of the "Chang Suek" football team was a meeting between the Siamese team and the Sport Club team, which were players from Europe. The match ended with the Siamese national team winning 2-1. The Siam Football Association Museum collects valuable items from the Thai national team, such as a football with the signatures of former Thai national football players, etc., and various photographs showing that Phraya Somdet Phra Mongkut Klao Chao Yu Hua, Rama VI, was interested in this type of sport. In addition, there are records of athletes during the reign of King Rama VI as evidence to confirm the admirable history of football in Thailand. The Siam Football Club Museum is located in the Phra Tamnak Kaew Palace in the Sanam Chan Palace area of ​​Nakhon Pathom Province. The museum does not charge an entrance fee, but visitors must pay the Sanam Chan Palace entrance fee before entering the museum.
