I visited Nambung National Park, about 200km north of Perth. You can see the Pinnacles here! It is believed that in ancient times, shells accumulated in this corner of the seaside, creating a limestone foundation, and after the virgin forest that had deep roots there died, the limestone layers that remained between the roots due to weathering of the earth remained like stone pillars.
