The Patissier is a small but cozy shop, like staying at a friend’s house who likes to make pastries. We chose to sit inside. The shop is decorated simply but cutely. We turned on some soft music and the smell of freshly baked croissants automatically made me hungry. I ordered fresh butter croissants and dirty coffee. I have to say…the croissants are really good, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not too oily, and with a smooth buttery aroma. The dirty coffee is also rich, with a clear coffee aroma, but still creamy in the mouth — sipping them together is just perfect. While sitting and eating, it was quiet and comfortable, like starting a new morning calmly, like the world slowed down a bit. Just a good croissant and a cup of coffee can make an ordinary Nan morning become a memorable one. If you come to Nan and want to find a quiet corner with delicious desserts, you shouldn't miss this shop.
