For me, I am particularly fond of and impressed by Wat Phumin in Nan. It stands out with its unique architecture, featuring the only cruciform ordination hall in Thailand built over a chedi. The four entrances are adorned with majestic twin Naga sculptures, and the Naga staircase symbolizes the connection to the human world. What truly captivates me is the famous mural painting "Pu Marn Ya Marn" or "The Whisper of Love," which vividly portrays the way of life, culture, and legends of Nan. This masterpiece is a major highlight that attracts visitors from around the globe. Additionally, the temple houses other exquisite Buddhist art, including the four-faced principal Buddha image visible from all directions. Wat Phumin is like a living museum, narrating the stories and charm of Nan in a profound and enchanting way.
