"Peach leaves are peach leaves, and you don't need a thorn to cross the river. But the crossing is painless, and I will welcome you." During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang Xianzhi, the seventh son of Wang Xizhi, often met Tao Ye here. Because this place is at the junction of two rivers and the water is deep and turbulent, Wang Xianzhi was very worried about the peach leaves traveling to and from the Qinhuai River. He often personally greeted and sent them off at the ferry, and composed several songs "Peach Leaves Ferry" to sing their praises. From then on, the ferry became famous, and over time it was also called Taoye Ferry.
