[Chiba Prefecture] A shrine where you can see the famous Ain Komainu

Kikuta Shrine 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 An ancient shrine that was founded during the Kōnin era (810-824). It is said to be the guardian deity of the former Kukuta village. The deities enshrined are Okuninushi-no-Okami and Fujiwara no Tokihira I had heard rumors that the lion dogs had been changed, so I went to see them for myself. They look different from the usual appearance, and they certainly look like they are doing an ain!
