(However, climbing back up might be tough for those with weak knees💦) The beautiful Ryuo Gorge and lush greenery are truly soothing🌳 ・We hiked about 15 minutes up the mountain beyond the bridge. The trail was well-maintained and easy to walk🚶♀️ (Although there weren’t any particularly noteworthy spots along the way, it was still enjoyable!) The path is perfect for light exercise🏃♂️

Yamizo Soba Shirataki A handmade soba restaurant located at 1334-14 Fujiwara, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. It's a 13-minute walk from Ryuokyo Station, and there were hardly any people walking around, but I stopped by during a hike. They served us freshly made soba, saying, "Wait a little while because they're going to start making it." While I was waiting, I had wasabi rice and miso oden.
