spectacular view from the fortress

overlooking the city of ohrid and lake ohrid. this is one of the most important fortification in the history. now it’s a major tourist attraction, which located in the very centre of the old town of Ohrid. I got up early to get there right before it opens. in the morning, the sun was not strong, it was really nice to walk around. inside of the fortress, there are few lookouts where you can overlook the city, the mountains and beautiful lake Ohrid. since it only takes around 10-15 mins to go uphill to visit this fortress, I do recommend everyone who is in town to visit this place. and there is one cafe right next to the entrance, you can grab some drinks before or after your visit. #passionpassport #gooutside #mountainview #fortress #macedonia
