Okinawa's Okinoerabu Island is a tranquil remote island located between Kagoshima and Okinawa. The first thing I felt when I arrived was how incredibly close the sky and sea seemed. No matter where you walk, the crystal-clear blue sea is always nearby. The sky is vast, and it's so peaceful that you can even watch the clouds drift by slowly. The daylight, the sunsets, and the starry night skies—all of them felt so vivid. At night, shooting stars abound! 🌠 With few streetlights, the starry sky is incredibly vibrant, and just lying down to gaze at it makes you lose track of time. While it doesn't have a typical touristy vibe, it makes you feel so much closer to nature.
