Visiting Tamawakasu-no-Mikoto Shrine on Oki Island: A Fusion of History and Spirituality

During my time at Tamawakasu-no-Mikoto Shrine on Japan's Oki Island, I experienced a period filled with spirituality and historical charm. This shrine, with its long history and sacred atmosphere, is one of the important religious sites for locals. I captured sixteen photos to document this unforgettable visit. Located in the heart of Oki Island, Tamawakasu-no-Mikoto Shrine is surrounded by dense forests, creating a sense of tranquility and sanctity. Inside the shrine, I visited many important religious relics and artifacts that display the historical and cultural value of the shrine. In particular, the stone monuments and ancient carvings made me feel the sacredness and solemnity of the place. I strolled through the shrine's courtyard, enjoying the surrounding natural scenery, and felt an unprecedented sense of peace and pleasure.
