For this Osaka trip, I chose to stay at "Chuo Public Hall," and as soon as I stepped into the hotel, I was surrounded by a strong Showa-era retro vibe! Located in the prime area between Shinsaibashi and Namba, it's right in the bustling shopping district, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Plus, the subway station is within walking distance, offering excellent transportation access. The most impressive feature of the hotel is its preservation of the 1930s architectural style. From wooden corridors and vintage elevators to the nostalgic furniture in the rooms, it feels like stepping back in time to old Osaka. Although the rooms are not large, the clever storage design and comfortable beds ensure a surprisingly restful sleep. The public areas are particularly special, with a nostalgic atmosphere. The lobby features an old clock and a wall of vintage photographs, inviting guests to slow down and savor the details. Breakfast is simple but delightful, with a Japanese set meal paired with fresh fruits, offering a refreshing start to the day. The staff are also very friendly, proactively helping with luggage and providing warm, attentive service. If you love retro styles and want to stay in the liveliest part of Osaka, Chuo Public Hall is definitely a great choice!
