Founded by the wealthy Fujita family, this private museum may be small in scale, but it houses over 4,000 exquisite art pieces from both Eastern and Western cultures. From Japanese national treasures to Chinese bronze artifacts and Persian carpets, stepping inside feels like opening a vivid, three-dimensional book on Eastern art history. The highlight of the museum is undoubtedly the Japanese National Treasure "Irises Folding Screen" by Ogata Kōrin. The delicate green hues, softly diffused under gentle lighting, create a dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of a floating world painting. Equally impressive are the displays of Chinese Shang and Zhou dynasty bronze artifacts and Buddhist art pieces, showcasing the Fujita family's profound appreciation for Eastern aesthetics.
