🇬🇧Oxford must-see✅Over 370 years old coffee house☕️ 📍The Grand Café

This cafe is walking around the streets of Oxford, and then attracted by the door of the sentence "The first coffee house in England in the year of 1650" 🤩 and went in to try it 🤣 I can write this sentence should be very famous in Oxford 😆 However, I didn't drink coffee this time ☕️ instead I drank tea 🫖 The shop looks like a cafe you usually see in London, with a classic and sophisticated feel, and inside it kind of travels back to an ancient mansion hundreds of years ago. We arrived at about 4:30pm and it was almost full, fortunately someone left and we could be seated quickly, and then the next table left and soon another table of new customers was seated, which seems very popular here! It offers breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, afternoon tea and cake dessert meals, since we were very full from our last meal, we chose to order a dessert and a scone with tea! SCONE - £8.95 One Scone, Jam and Clotted Cream 😋 Thoughts: - Choose plain scone or fruit scone, personally prefer fruit scone, usually I will half jam and then the other half cream🤤 try both flavors at once💕 - The fruit scone here is not too sticky and fluffy, not too much grapes and not too sweet, after jamming or cream, the taste is just right, the key is warm, quite tasty 😋👍🏻 Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Brownie With Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Pod Ice Cream - £7.50 😋 Thoughts: - Personally, I think the cake is a surprise, because usually Brownie than I feel should be sweet to leak, maybe because using Dark chocolate🍫 chocolate flavor rich but not too sweet, very tasty 😋👍🏻 Caramel Sauce with vanilla ice cream is quite tasty🤤 I would give the cake higher score than scone🥰 Scone and cake with tea is the most perfect🙌🏻 Lady Gray / Peach Tea £6.50 😋 Thoughts after drinking: - Both are black tea tea base, Peach has a very fragrant peach flavor, drink more strong, Lady Gray has a light lemon flavor, both are good to drink 😋👍🏻 If I have the chance to come to Oxford again next time, I think I will probably come here again and try the coffee ☕️! 📍The Grand Café, Oxford Address: 84 High St, Oxford OX1 4BG #foodphotography #foodguide #trip #westernfood #britishfood #oxford #oxforddaytrip #oxfordfood
