Incredible Oxford, Like Stepping Into The World Of Harry Potter! Put It On Your Bucket List.

Oxford is one of the most beautiful cities in Britain and it totally lives up to it’s reputation, it is full of stunning buildings and makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. It feels like you’re in the world of Harry Potter and get a sense of a life gone by. It is a lot smaller and quieter than London but still offers you an amazing glimpse of the history, culture and architecture of historical Britain. The university, castle district and shopping streets are lined with stone buildings with fascinating detailing. My biggest tip for oxford is to look up! So many buildings have underwhelming street level stores and restaurants but step back and look up and you can see stone carvings, stained glass windows, gargoyles and even some blue placks for historic buildings. Oxford Is a very walkable city an there is limited parking in the city center - best bet is to park securely in the suburbs and catch the bus into the city center. From there all sites are walkable, and you can do the city within a day. The whole city is very photogenic but obviously gets very busy!
