At Palermo Centrale

While traveling in Sicily, I took a train from Palermo Centrale (Palermo Central Station) to a small village where my accommodation was located. The station was cleaner than expected, and although it wasn't very large, it beautifully blended old architecture with modern buildings. You can easily purchase train tickets in English from the machines, and nowadays, tickets can also be bought through apps. Inside the station, there are cafes, a small supermarket, and fast-food outlets, making it convenient to grab something to eat or shop before heading out. If you're planning to travel to other cities in Sicily by train, Palermo Centrale is a great place to start your journey.
