Purchase a Museum Pass and Batobus to explore Paris over two days. Day 1: Start your morning early before the museums open by heading to Montmartre Hill, home to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, to get a panoramic view of Paris. At 9 AM, visit the Musée de l'Orangerie, where Monet's Water Lilies can be best appreciated when the museum isn't crowded. Take the Batobus to the Palais de Chaillot for a great view of the Eiffel Tower, and walk to the Pont d'Iéna. If you're a Monet fan, the Musée Marmottan Monet is highly recommended. Other great options include the Panthéon and the Musée de Cluny. On Thursdays, the Musée d'Orsay stays open late. Day 2: Begin your day with a stroll around Île Saint-Louis, then visit Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame Cathedral starting at 9 AM. In the afternoon, explore the Opéra Garnier and either the Musée Gustave Moreau, the Musée Picasso, or the Centre Pompidou. The Louvre Museum stays open late on Wednesdays and Fridays.
