Kru Se Mosque

The Kru Se Mosque or Sultan Muzaffar Shah Mosque is an old mosque that is over 200 years old. It is located in Ban Kru Se, Mueang Pattani District, Pattani Province. It is estimated that it was a religious site built in the 22nd Buddhist century during the Ayutthaya period. It is also known as the Pitukrueban Mosque. This name comes from the shape of the mosque door, which is a pointed arch in the style of European Gothic and Middle Eastern architecture. The word Pituk means door, while the word Krueban means an arched doorway. This place is not hard to find. It is located on the side of the road. There were a lot of people when we went. The weather was quite hot. Locals like to come and sit, take pictures, and eat because there is a food cart on the side. It can be said that it is a gathering place for Muslims.
