The castle is in a quadrangular (grand cathedral) architectural style, using 170 pillars and hardwoods such as teak, golden teak, and red wood. The roof is in the shape of a ship's hull, decorated with carved wooden sculptures according to ancient beliefs from wise men in the past. It is beautiful and magnificent. It is like a living museum that tells the stories of the Siamese people. The locals call it the Ancient Palace or the Wooden Castle.
