Khao Luang Cave

Khao Luang Cave, another historic tourist attraction in Phetchaburi, is located on Khao Luang Hill in Thong Chai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phetchaburi Province. Inside the cave, there is a replica of the Buddha's footprint under a roofed arch. This footprint, representing the right foot, is carved from stone and consists of two layers. It was originally created during the reign of King Boromakot in the Ayutthaya period. The upper layer is a newer restoration made during the reign of King Rama IV. The cave ceiling features a natural opening (resembling a heart shape), allowing sunlight to stream in beautifully. 🏖️ Environment/Facilities: There is ample parking available, and the entrance fee is 10 baht.
