It was built by Chao Phraya Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) in 1810 during the reign of King Rama II, who was a title of Muen Phrom Surin at that time. Therefore, the temple was named after his royal title. ✨️After the battle with the Vietnamese in Cambodia, Chao Phraya Bodindecha passed away. King Rama III accepted it as a royal temple and named it Wat Parinayok, which means the emperor's great general. ✨️The principal Buddha image is Phra Suraphi Buddha image, which is in the Sukhothai style and is very beautiful. ✨️During the reign of King Rama V, Ratchadamnoen Road was built, and the temple lost a lot of land, making it a small temple even though it was a royal temple. ✨️The temple is near Khlong Bang Lamphu, which has been landscaped to make it look more beautiful.
