The Grand World Visitor Center on Phu Quoc Island was designed by Vo Trong Nghia Architects. The design team used 42,000 bamboo poles to weave a dense grid structure, creating an arched building that serves as the gateway to the Grand World eco-resort. The highly versatile bamboo material was bent, combined, and woven into an intricate system, with the roof covered in dense thatch. The overall structure resembles a sculptural form. The bamboo grid gives the building a sense of lightness, facilitating air circulation and enhancing natural lighting. The natural tones and textures of bamboo create a warm and intimate atmosphere.
