[Chin][Chin][Chin] Honest Thoughts: The newly opened Veranda Autograph Collection is visually stunning, with a white-dominated palette accented by candy pink, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The pool in front of the restaurant features Instagram-worthy cabanas, perfect for photos. The small garden near the bar offers a seaside vibe, great for more shots. Just switch angles at these spots, and you’re golden. [Split][Split][Split] The Hotel’s Downside: If you don’t book a sea-view room, it feels more like a park than a resort—only the ocean-facing rooms give off vacation vibes. Twice I tried booking, but rooms were either unavailable or had late check-outs (unless you’re okay with a 4 PM check-in). The rooms are decent, though no bathtub—but for a one-night stay, it didn’t bother me. The beach is littered with stones and glass bottles. I later discovered coral fragments stuck in my feet and had to visit the hospital to remove them. I also fell off a paddleboard, scraping my thigh. 📝 Tips: Walk carefully on the beach—it’s not the relaxing experience you’d expect. Not sure if they’ll clean it up in the future. 🌟 Highlights: The service and staff are great, so I wouldn’t call it a bad stay. The hotel is near Promthep Cape, nestled in a large bay, so you can paddleboard or ride banana boats far out without time limits or extra charges. Nearby, there’s a 7-Eleven and a village with plenty of dining options—it’s not too isolated. In the off-season, Marriott points cost over 30,000, or ~1,200 THB; my employee rate was 700 THB without breakfast, but at that price, you could’ve picked any Marriott property in Phuket. [Work] Final Verdict: Fine for a novelty stay, but for a real vacation, you have better options.
