Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park in Majia Township, Pingtung County

The Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park, located in Majia Township, Pingtung County, offers free admission every year on Indigenous Peoples Day. Covering an area of approximately 82 hectares, the park is divided into three main sections: comprehensive buildings, special exhibitions, and traditional settlement architecture. Additionally, it features four distinct visiting areas: "Fuguwan Area," "Tamaluwan Area," "Naluwan Area," and "Welcome Area." The "Fuguwan Area" showcases traditional settlements and household displays of the Bunun, Paiwan, Rukai, Thao, and Tsou tribes. The "Tamaluwan Area" exhibits traditional settlements and house structures of the Atayal, Saisiyat, Puyuma, Yami, Amis, Taroko, Kavalan, and Sakizaya tribes. The "Naluwan Area" includes a 360-degree circular performance stage and an open-air festival venue. The "Welcome Area" features attractions such as the Little Pottery House Bookstore, the Visitor and Administrative Center, the Craft Market Street, and the Octagonal Pavilion Special Exhibition Hall. Additionally, the Indigenous Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall displays artifacts from the daily lives of indigenous peoples and showcases their cultural and artistic heritage. This year, in celebration of International Museum Day on May 18, the park will also offer free admission.
