This monument is located high on the Liberator's Hill (Bunardzhik Hill), and it is the best place to look down on all of Plovdiv and a great place to feel history. ✨ It was a long way up the mountain path, and although it was a bit steep, the scenery along the way was really beautiful. The monument itself is very grand and has the figure of a Soviet soldier symbolizing the victory of World War II. Standing at the feet of "Aliosha" and watching him looking into the distance, and then looking down at the entire city of Plovdiv, the weight of history and the open view were perfectly combined, and I had a lot of thoughts. 💖 My Visiting Tips: Best Viewpoint: This is one of the best places to see the whole city of Plovdiv, and if you come at dusk, you can also see a beautiful sunset! How to get to the top: There is a clear path from the foot of the mountain to the monument, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Historical significance: Learn about the history behind this monument. It is not only a memorial to World War II, but also a complex historical emotion. Ambience: The top of the mountain is open, so it is a great place to sit quietly, feel the wind, and look down on the city, in addition to the monument itself.
