Rural Resort Tron in Plužine is the place you go when you’re tired of people, traffic, and heat. Surrounded by mountains and farm animals living their best lives, this little slice of Montenegro felt like a hug from nature. Fresh air, almost no people - that's what you need after partying in Budva🌿. 🛖 We stayed in cozy wooden cabins, ate farm-to-table meals, and watched the moon rising above the mountains and lake - I couldn't believe my eyes! The moon was so bright, you would never notice it in the city, believe me (last pic). 🍴 There's a nice restaurant with the panoramic views. It's cheap and delicious. Homemade food never disappoints. 🐓🐮 Bonus: a rooster alarm clock that did not believe in sleeping in. Also, morning walk around the farm, greeting cows - I miss this rural setting so much. 👨🌾 And the staff? Pure soul. Homemade rakija, local stories, and big smiles — rural hospitality at its finest. 📍Tip: Bring cash, a good book, and zero expectations for nightlife. Unless your idea of a party is cows mooing under the stars. (Which honestly… kinda slaps.) 🛶There's a 15-minute drive to Piva Lake, where you can sup/kayak or just chill. Located in the mountains, it's very clean and not crowded, as it is far away from the seaside. Highly recommend visiting. 🏞Another spot - Piva Lake viewpoint. You don't want to miss it even if there's a switching road (like many roads on Montenegro).
