Pottering Around Porto

With its simple yet striking aesthetic, Porto is the perfect walking city to visit when looking for a short and relaxing break from a busy working life. We stayed at the top of the city and meandered our way down to the river each day passing through back alleys and main streets full of vibrant bars and restaurants also boasting a range of retail stores. I would also definitely recommend the port tasting experience. The city was beautiful, the prices were good and it was not far to the beach. The thing that blew me away most was the price of the taxis/Ubers, costing us only around €7.50 for a half an hour taxi ride or just a few euros for a 10 minute ride, this meant we could see the whole city inexpensively and encouraged us to go farther afoot which was great! #travel #porto #portowine
