Malaysia's beautiful pink mosque

I went on a 3-night, 5-day trip to Malaysia ๐Ÿ’“ I left for Kuala Lumpur on AirAsia at 11:55pm from Haneda. I worked as usual and made it to the airport in no time at all after work ๐Ÿซถ I arrived in Kuala Lumpur around 8am. I exchanged about 3000 yen for ringgit at the airport and headed to my first destination. From the airport, I took a train to Putrajaya Station. (Credit cards are accepted!) There are lockers at the station that can easily hold a suitcase and carry-on luggage (30RM; prepare 3 x 10RM in cash and purchase coins from a vending machine), so I put my luggage there and headed to the Pink Mosque! To get to the Pink Mosque, I used the taxi app grab and took a taxi. It took about 20 minutes. Taxis are cheap in Malaysia, so use grab! There is no admission fee to the Pink Mosque. All women borrow pink gowns. (This is also free) It's kind of cute because everyone is wearing this ๐Ÿฉท The ceiling inside the Pink Mosque is very beautiful! You can take a lot of photos, but there are people praying, so try not to make too much noise lol After touring the inside of the mosque, we went on a Putrajaya Lake cruise! We bought a ticket (credit card accepted โ† this information is not listed anywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚ I think I'm the only one writing it) and killed time by looking at souvenir shops until the appointed time ๐ŸŽต The waiting time was about 20 minutes? (I think it was the 11:15 show). There were small and big boats, but we chose the small one ๐Ÿšข It was cheap at 30 RM (about 900 yen) per person, and it has a roof but no walls, so you can see the view well! The cruise was about 40 minutes ๐ŸŽต The only way to see the Pink Mosque from the lake is to take a boat, so be sure to take it lol Sometimes the sun hits you at an angle, so sunscreen is a must! On the way, there was a moment when the Pink Mosque and the Prime Minister's Residence came into view side by side, which was very moving. After boarding the boat, it was just around lunchtime, so we had lunch at the food court near the cruise dock. I went along with the touts and ate what they recommended, but the drinks were in a different shop, and the accounting system was too complicated so I ended up paying extra (I got my money back though lol) ๐Ÿ˜… But it was really delicious so I still had fun ๐Ÿ‘Œ It was cheap as it was about 700 yen in Japanese yen with soup, rice and a main dish ๐Ÿซถ After that, I returned to Putrajaya station by Grab, picked up my luggage from the locker and headed to the hotel by Grab again ๐Ÿซถ I could have taken the train, but I would have to take Grab to the hotel (Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur) after getting off the train again, so I decided to take Grab from the beginning ๐Ÿ˜‚ At that time, I forgot to go to Astaka Morocco and was very disappointed, but I was glad I could go on the last day ๐Ÿซถ I will post more about the hotel later ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ“ The first photo is the road on the way from the Pink Mosque to the Prime Minister's House. This place looks great! ๐Ÿ“ The second photo is at the pier before boarding the boat. These kinds of photos can only be taken from the small boat dock, so I recommend the small boat๐Ÿ’“Day 1 schedule๐Ÿ—“๏ธAM8:00 Arrival at Kuala Lumpur International AirportAM10:00 Visit inside the Pink MosqueAM11:15 Cruise on Putrajaya Lake12:00 LunchPM15:00 Hotel check-inPM16:30 Islamic Art Museum๐Ÿ“Pink MosqueJabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM), Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan, 62502 Persekutuan, Putrajayaโฐ Saturday to Thursday 9:00 to 12:30, 14:00 to 16:00, 17:30 to 18:00Friday 15:00 to 16:00, 17:30 to 18:00Free admission๐Ÿ†“ #Trip to Malaysia #Pink Mosque #Trip to Malaysia
