Pyeongchang's Experiential Cave Exploration at Baengnyong Cave

To explore Baengnyong Cave, you need to make a reservation in advance and visit the Exploration Center to equip yourself with cave exploration gear such as suits and helmets before starting your adventure. At Donggang River, I met explorers dressed in exploration suits, boarding Baengnyong Lake to reach Baengnyong Cave. Baengnyong Cave in Pyeongchang is a limestone cave designated as Natural Monument No. 260. It is the first experiential cave program in Korea where visitors can explore the cave's outstanding scenery with professional explanations from cave guides. Compared to other open caves in Korea, Baengnyong Cave is less damaged, allowing for the preservation of various cave formations.
