I will write a review of Phoenix Park, a resort with a good price-to-performance ratio that you can take your child or dog to in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do. I used Phoenix Park skiing last year and wanted to stay at this resort someday, so I stayed here while I was traveling to Pyeongchang. Phoenix Park was used as a ski stadium for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, so it is a popular place for ski lovers during the winter ski season. It is a great place to enjoy a summer vacation with your child, as it has a water park and luge land in the summer as well as in the winter. Phoenix Park is located in Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, and is about 2 hours by car from Seoul. There is a free shuttle bus from Pyeongchang Station or Jangpyeong Terminal, so it is good for backpackers to visit. Phoenix Park accommodations are largely divided into two: hotels and resorts. Phoenix Hotel is a 4-star hotel that was remodeled, so the facilities are neat and clean. In addition to the standard superior rooms, there are also Korean-style rooms with ondol floors. Phoenix Park Resort is divided into three major buildings: Blue Building, Green Building, and Yellow/Orange Building. Blue Dong is the representative building and was recently remodeled, so the interior is neat and clean. Green Dong has older facilities than Blue Dong, but it has many spacious rooms and a living room that is good for families. Yellow/Orange Dong is smaller and has the oldest facilities, but it is good value for money. Since it is a resort, the auxiliary facilities are well-equipped, so there are many things to do. I think it is a resort with a great value for money to come with children for a summer vacation. Also, there are many delicious restaurants and attractions in Pyeongchang nearby, so it is good to come to Pyeongchang travel accommodations.
