A Unique Sydney Accommodation Experience

🏨🥂Meriton Suites Golden Tower Sydney 📍243 Pyrmont St, Sydney NSW, Australia 📌This hotel's location is truly unbeatable! Both the University of Sydney and the Sydney Opera House are nearby. We could walk from the hotel to Darling Harbour. For those driving, there's a parking garage opposite the hotel. Although you have to walk across a short railway bridge, everything is very convenient. 🚪✨Our apartment was on the fifth floor. The design was quite dated and could use some renovation. Upon entering, we saw a blood-stained quilt on the dining table, which instantly put a damper on our check-in experience. The hinges on the door and cabinets were also broken, which felt a bit disappointing. Showers are taken in the bathtub, and the floor is a little slippery, so caution is advised. Although the room had a washing machine, dryer, and kitchen, some of the facilities were clearly outdated, and even the carpet felt a bit hazardous. However, the staff were truly heartwarming, cleaning meticulously every day and replenishing detergent and washing powder, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️🏠The room itself was quite spacious, with a large bed made of combined mattresses, which was relatively comfortable to sleep on. The windows offered street views, although it was a bit noisy. We encountered Internet issues, making it a struggle to get online. However, the bed and pillows here were super comfortable, perfect for someone like me who needs a good night's sleep while traveling. Despite some minor issues, the pool and spa being open until midnight was a fantastic perk. 🍽️🌆The hotel's surroundings are also a major highlight. Darling Harbour, along with numerous cafes and restaurants, such as the nearby AALIA Restaurant Sydney, Nour, and Primi Italian, are just a few minutes' walk away, satisfying any craving. If you're looking to shop, stores are only a 10-minute walk away. In the evening, you can visit the Opera House to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sydney Harbour, which is simply fantastic! Although our accommodation experience was a bit mixed, the overall location and convenience were good.
