Huojing Ancient Town

Chengdu's underrated, unpopular, thousand-year-old ancient town is open. I love this tranquility. I took my kids to an ancient town last weekend. I was surprised √ I could go shopping √ I could eat √ I could play in the water It is recognized as the place in the world where natural gas was discovered and used the earliest. There are no tourists here, only a sense of solitude and tranquility. About Hebei Street There is an ancient street from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China in the ancient town. More than half of the ancient houses on the street are well preserved. Important old buildings include Qiu’s "Haiwu", Chen’s former residence, Jiulong Bridge, Tenglong Bridge, and the ancient banyan tree that witnesses the ancient town of Huojing. The ancient town is relatively primitive with almost no tourists. There is a market on the 3rd, 6th and 9th of each month, and most shops are closed for the rest of the time. (Figure 4) About 【Sea House】 Built in 1934, it is a typical residential building combining Chinese and Western styles. It has now become the Erma Folk Museum, which displays the Qiang culture and is free to enter. (Figure 8) About [Playing in the Creek] A stream runs around the ancient town, like the "moat" of the ancient city. It can lead to the "Huojing Police Station".
