The Hawaiian vibe in Tohoku! Kona's Coffee Rifu Store

A brand-new café that opened in 2024. The interior, previously a restaurant, is quite spacious for a café. Another perk is the direct parking connection to Aeon Mall. I visited around 3 PM on a weekday, and there were empty seats, making the atmosphere very relaxed and comfortable. The interior is fully Hawaiian-themed! Surfboards, colorful paintings, and various trinkets are displayed, creating an uplifting vibe. Every corner is Instagram-worthy. I ordered the most popular item, the Strawberry & Banana Whipped Pancakes. The dish comes with four pancakes, which was just the right amount for two women. The generous whipped cream wasn’t overly sweet, and the pancakes had a slight saltiness that balanced the flavors perfectly. You can also drizzle crushed coffee beans and honey from the table. The strawberries and bananas were sweet and delicious. I also ordered coffee and café latte, which were slightly bitter, so I added whipped cream to them. The menu also includes dishes like Loco Moco and burgers, which looked appetizing. I plan to try them next time.
