Buraphaphiraam Temple

#Wat Burapha Phiram is a third-class royal temple, formerly known as Wat Hua Ro. It has the tallest Buddha statue in Thailand, Phra Phutta Ratnamongkhon Maha Muni. Under the base of the Buddha statue is a museum with lifelike statues of famous monks in Roi Et Province, such as Luang Pu Ma Thawaro, the god of the Chi River Basin. There is also a Buddhist history park within the temple grounds, with statues showing his birth, ordination, asceticism, enlightenment, first sermon, and nirvana. Roi Et people like to call him Phra Chao Yai, and he is highly revered by the people of Roi Et and nearby provinces.
