New entry regulations for Russia are here! Starting June 30, 2025, foreign citizens entering Russia must complete digital registration using the official entry service app ruID. This app simplifies the entry process, requiring travelers to submit an electronic entry application via the app 72 hours before arrival (or 4 hours in emergencies) and generate a QR code. The application requires personal information, purpose of visit, and duration of stay, with international students also needing to upload their school invitation letter. From June 30, 2025, Russia will launch the second phase of its digital pilot program for immigration management of foreign citizens and stateless persons, applicable at all open ports nationwide. 🔹 Visa-free travelers must submit an electronic entry application form via the digital system or mobile app at least 72 hours in advance. 🔹 Minors and legally incapacitated persons must have their applications submitted by legal guardians. 🔹 In special cases such as medical emergencies or the death of immediate family members, applications can be submitted up to 4 hours before entry, with written proof required. 📌 The following individuals are exempt from declaration: • Children under 6 years old • Holders of visas, temporary or permanent residence permits • Applications for minors aged 6–18 must be submitted by parents/guardians with valid permits
