Krasae Cave, Kanchanaburi

The cave along the Death Railway is a historical tourist attraction of Kanchanaburi. If you don't come, it's a mistake. Krasae Cave is next to the railway near the Death Curve. It is a curved railway line along the mountain and below is the Kwai Noi River. During World War II, Krasae Cave used to be a place for prisoners of war who were rounded up to build the Death Railway. The mouth of the cave is a viewpoint of the railway and offers the most beautiful natural scenery of the Kwai Noi River. Inside the cave is a Buddha statue called Phra Phuttha Saksit.
