The waiting seats at the station are also full of Gegege no Kitaro elements. Sakaiminato in Tottori was originally a port city connecting South Korea and Russia. Because the author of Gegege no Kitaro was born here, it has become a focus of local tourism promotion. There is also a Mizuki Shigeru Avenue in the area. If you stroll along it, you can see various ghost characters from comics transformed into sculptures decorating the streets. Even the street lights have become eyeballs. If you are lucky, you will encounter a Gegege no Kitaro doll appearing and taking photos with tourists. JR is also very localized.
