Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) The Fábrica dels Panyos, a popular building declared a cultural asset of national interest, was built in 1826 and marks the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in Manresa; it is the oldest factory in Catalonia and Spain that has preserved its original features. At different stages, wool rags, cotton and finally yarn are produced. The company closed in 1976.
