#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck Sukhothai is not only a destination for those who are fascinated by ancient sites and temples, but this secondary city with a long history also has cool street art in a pop culture style for tourists to visit in Sawankhalok District. The cool thing about the 6 murals in this old Chinese community is that they are the work of leading Thai and foreign street artists who have come together to convey the charm of the lifestyle of Sawankhalok residents through paintings, telling stories about food, clothing, art, literature, music, sports, and lifestyles. This is one of the activities in the Experiencing ASEANâs Pop Culture project organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to promote art and cultural tourism for both Thai and ASEAN tourists. The 6 street art murals are located in the âRailway Areaâ, a row of wooden buildings on Soi Phisan Sunthonkit (in the middle of the city), the old commercial area of ââSawankhalok, the alley opposite the Sawankhalok Police Station. The artists who participated in the exhibition are Hello I am JK from Thailand, Kenji from Malaysia, Peap Tarr from Cambodia, Lisa Mam from Cambodia, and Ceno2 from Singapore.
