#KoreaTrip #Walking #HistoricalLandmarks #Music #Cafe Started my morning walk 🚶‍♀️ from Jongmyo Shrine. Before I knew it, I had arrived at Donhwamun, the entrance to Changdeokgung Palace. I'm sure there's a palace-like structure around here... I walked south 🚶‍♀️ along the street at Donhwamun, but then I thought I'd gone too far... so I walked straight west 🚶‍♀️, then north 🚶‍♀️ and... I found Unhyeongung Palace. This is Heunsung Tae-geun's private residence. The mansion where he lived until his son Gojong ascended to the throne. Is it a modern Korean house? It's a stylish building. I found out later that it's located on the campus of Duksung Women's University, adjacent to the Western-style building where the drama Goblin was filmed, and although you can't enter the building, you can enter from the main gate. I wonder if I was able to see the Western-style building... Walked to Exit 4 of Anguk Station and turned right 🚶. I went to the Seoul Woori Museum, diagonally opposite Donhwamun. This is Korea's first folk song museum. It is a facility where you can store and view not only folk songs, but also nursery rhymes and lullabies, as well as video and audio. There was a computer in the Korean-style cafe where you could listen to folk songs. I was tired from walking so I had brunch at Cafe ☕️Tong, which I had been interested in for a while. It is on the 7th floor of a thin building next to the fire station. You can see Changdeokgung Palace from here. There are other interesting buildings that catch your eye, so I'll go and see them later. Access: Anguk Station, Subway Line 3 1.
