Seoul Dongdaemun: A tea shop where you'll forget you're in Dongdaemun

🇰🇷 Dongdaemun, Seoul 『cha-cha teaclub』Changshin Hanok 차차티클럽 창신한옥 ⁡ ⁡ I knew about the shop in Yeonnam (unfortunately it closed 🥲) but this shop is a completely different atmosphere a renovated 70-year-old inn. ⁡ It was a little discovery to find out that there is a tea shop like this in Dongdaemun ✨ ⁡ ⁡ They have a normal drink menu (no coffee) I wanted to drink proper tea in a proper teapot here. ⁡ They have white tea, oolong tea, black tea, etc. I chose the white tea recommended by the staff. ⁡ For sweets, I chose a plate of flower yakgwa from the Korean-style dessert menu. ⁡ The yakkwa was served with bite-sized ganjeong, jelly, chocolate, and cookies. The yakkwa was soaked in raspberry honey, and was chewy and moist. It was the most delicious yakkwa I have ever eaten. 🤤♥️ I think I'll go back just for this. 🥹 ⁡ ⁡ I boiled water in the pot I had at hand, and slowly brewed it in a teapot. I spent a relaxing time here. ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ) ⁡ ⁡ Eh, is there a shop in a place like this? 🥹 I walked down a narrow alleyway and ended up passing it by.
