Lined with traditional Korean houses called hanok, the area feels like a peaceful escape from the city’s fast pace. Each alley we turned into felt like a scene from a historical drama wooden doors, curved rooftops, and mountain views in the distance. Some hanoks are still homes, while others are cafes, museums, or art shops. It’s a beautiful mix of old and new where the past is preserved, but still part of everyday life. Definitely a must-visit if you want to feel the soul of Seoul.
