Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel Prestige Suite Staycation

After staying in the Club Magnifique Room six months ago, I returned for another stay, this time in the Prestige Suite Room, which is considered the entry-level suite among the suite options. During the past six months, I’ve visited all five dining establishments at this hotel at least once, with Lespace being my favorite, as I’ve been there four times in the last three months. This visit marks my first stay this year. After completing check-in at the 32nd-floor Club Millésime, I immediately enjoyed the afternoon tea time. I had seen on Instagram that a tray, which wasn’t available in October, had been introduced, and this was one of the reasons for my revisit. Next, I moved on to the Club Millésime evening cocktail time. It operates in two sessions, and I chose the first session due to other plans later. The setup was similar to six months ago but with some changes. The buffet section has been enhanced, while the number of plated dishes brought to the table has decreased. This seems to be a thoughtful adjustment for those who prefer larger portions. We focused on champagne and managed to drink 12 glasses among three people, which is equivalent to finishing two bottles. We spent the entire 90 minutes eating and drinking non-stop. The watermelon was particularly delicious 🍉. Back in the room, we held a surprise birthday party for a friend whose birthday was today. The friend’s family also joined us. We ordered in-room dining, including chicken and French fries, which the kids loved. The truffle-infused sauce paired surprisingly well with the champagne. Although the chicken was mainly for the kids, I tried a piece. It came with onion rings, and the taste was average. The suite room has a dining table and plenty of chairs, making it suitable for gatherings. With two bathrooms, it’s also very convenient. After finishing all the food we prepared, the first day’s schedule came to an end. We admired the night view of Seokchon Lake before falling asleep on the comfortable and spacious bed. The next morning, we had breakfast at Club Millésime. During my first stay, I was lucky to have my regular breakfast upgraded to the one at Fait Maison, but this time, we stayed at Club Millésime. There’s a noticeable difference in the variety and selection of menu items. Last year, I was fortunate to get a corner-side room in the Magnifique Room, and this time, the Prestige Suite Room was also a corner-side room. From the room, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Seokchon Lake, catch glimpses of Songpa District’s cityscape, and even see a bit of the Han River. The KT Building office is directly across from the room. With an extra bed set up in the living room, it felt like having two separate rooms. The suite also has two TVs and two bathrooms, allowing for complete separation and personal time, even with three guests. Thanks to the exceptionally kind staff at Club Millésime, this stay was as comfortable and relaxing as ever. Thank you!
