Lotte World Vibes at Lotte Hotel World Lounge 'Brasserie'

When I was young and visited Lotte World, I used to gaze longingly at the café visible through the glass windows near the Spanish Pirate Ship (Viking) and Flume Ride. Back then, I thought it was a place only wealthy people could go, especially after learning it was a hotel coffee shop. While searching for afternoon tea spots, I discovered that this café is actually the lounge 'Brasserie' at Lotte Hotel World, which I recently visited. I was seated at the first window-side table. This spot is special because it’s the starting point of the parade, allowing you to make eye contact with the performers and wave at them, bringing back a childlike sense of joy. It’s one of the unique charms of this place. Many people have at least one cherished memory of Lotte World, and this visit felt like a nostalgic trip down memory lane before diving into the afternoon tea experience. The café latte was rich and nutty, offering a delightful taste. The savory items had a somewhat similar composition but were undeniably delicious. The scones came in two varieties, making for a generous selection. While the sweets had excellent cream, the bakery items were slightly lacking. The tray with its distinctive bead-like design left an impression. Interestingly, I’ve seen similar trays used at a hotel in Tokyo on Instagram recently. It’s quite a charming piece. Thank you.
