Small Gardens, Local Exhibits

🎈 During my visit to the 2025 Seoul International Garden Expo, I had the chance to see the gardens from Seocho-gu, Yangcheon-gu, and Gwangjin-gu. These gardens left a lasting impression as they beautifully reflected the unique characteristics and stories of each district. First, Seocho-gu's garden was themed around harmony and relaxation in the urban environment. True to its reputation as a city of music, the garden featured sculptures and plant arrangements with a delicate rhythm, creating a space where nature and art blended seamlessly. Walking through the garden felt like a healing experience, with its well-designed pathways and sophisticated plant arrangements and color schemes. 🌳 Yangcheon-gu's garden was themed around communication with local residents. A garden featuring a soccer ball that highlighted the World Cup Stadium was particularly memorable. The combination of practical plants and emotional decorations showcased the importance of nature in everyday life. 🦋 Lastly, Gwangjin-gu's garden creatively expressed the coexistence of the Han River, nature, and the city. The garden inspired by Achasan Mountain was especially impressive, exuding the vitality of nature in its purest form. 🔮 Overall, all three districts presented outstanding works that highlighted their individuality and charm. These gardens went beyond mere aesthetics, embedding the identity and stories of their respective regions, making the experience all the more meaningful. 🍁
