Classic positions look at the classic Bund

On the 18th floor platform of the Shanghai Building, where 140 national leaders have been received, it is particularly meaningful to revisit it in person. Recently, for a friend's 70th birthday, we specifically chose the classic landscape building of old Shanghai. Surrounded by familiar sights, even familiar sights appear like models. Looking at Huangpu Park, you can see shady trees like velvet balls, and pedestrians like ants. Looking at the green belt in front of the building, it seems like an island, and the green belt opposite the door seems like a small park with winding paths and comfortable chairs for passers-by to rest for a while. The Russian Consulate is like a pile of children's toy blocks, and for some reason, the Russian flag has not been raised to the top and seems to be at half-mast. The classic view of the Waibaidu Bridge and the Bund, which has been vibrant for a century, is always fascinating. The monument to the liberation of Shanghai stands out like a bayonet on the shore. The church at the source of the Bund and the former rowing club now stand there as new attractions, attracting tourists to come and take photos. The regulated Suzhou River has live fish along the river and new building groups, and boat tours have become a new tourism project. The constant changes of the Bund and the original taste remain unchanged. Such a deep historical accumulation is so profound that no matter how the wind blows and the rain falls, it cannot wash away the dust of the world.
